Shireland Learning is the School Based Company of The Collegiate Academy Trust which runs Shireland Collegiate Academy and the George Salter Collegiate Academy in the West Midlands.
The schools have pioneered the use of Learning Gateways running all aspects of the schools’ activity from delivery of lessons to integration of MIS and communication to parents; achieving spectacular school performance improvement results along the way. As well as its library of more than 600 SCORM 4 teaching resources Shireland has just released its Gear Up range which offers high quality teaching materials at KS2 – KS3 in Reading, Mathematics and Science. Storyboarded by top teachers and designed and tested in house, these materials are now available outside of the Shireland Community for the first time
