We give you the keys to create even more with Frog
The Frog Developer Platform (FDP) allows schools to extend the Frog learning platform to meet their specific needs.
With this information, and using standard easy to learn web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript), schools are empowered to make the kind of functionality they need and not have to wait for us to develop these ideas (as you can imagine with over 600 schools we get a lot of requests).
There is also a thriving community site that is a direct line to our developers to get help with building widgets. Other schools are also active on this site and often will provide an answer even before a Frog developer has had chance to reply!
FDP Widgets conform to the UWA specification, which in real terms means that they can be used in multiple places (Window desktop gadgets, Mac OSX Widgets, iGoogle desktop). It also allows access to external data sources such as Flickr, Twitter, Google Maps and more to enable powerful socially connectable widgets to be created. |
